On the tip of the olecranon process.

This point is treated by moxibustion only

TCM Actions:

Transforms Phlegm and dissipates swelling.

TCM Indications:

• Scrofula, carbuncles and furuncles, deep-rooted ulcers, intestinal abscess.

Major Combinations:

• Scrofula:
    Moxa Zhoujian Ex-UE-1 one hundred times (usually on opposite side to symptom) and needle Bailiao Ex-HN-15
    (Liao Runhong, 廖润鸿, 1874: Zhen Jiu Ji Cheng, 針灸集成, Compilation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion).

Notes:

Lad and Durve (2008) in Marma Points of Ayurveda call this point Kurpara and associate it with the doshas: Vyana Vayu and Shleshaka Kapha.

They give the following functions:
- Regulates coordination of movement of upper extremities and elbow
- Relieves pain locally
